Question about Google Reader

Actually, it’s a question about the shared items RSS feed. I subscribed to Scoble’s Shared items in Bloglines the other day and discovered something odd. Instead of the title of each post showing as the title, the title of the original blog shows as the post title. That makes scanning the feed a lot harder to do, since the titles don’t tell you anything about what the post is about.

For example, let’s say he linked to something I wrote, instead of telling you what he linked to, it would just say “Out of the Frying Pan and into the Cube” at the top, which when you’re scanning through a number of things in his RSS feed, wouldn’t tell you anything.

Anyhow, my question. Is this a problem with Bloglines parsing the feed, or does the fact that each entry in his Google Reader feed has two title fields (One for the post, the second for the name of the blog) create a problem with non-Google Reader aggregators? Can someone who knows more about the RSS spec look at the feed and ‘splain it to me?
