Renamer

Thanks for all of the suggestions on renaming. Some of them were quite, umm, interesting, given what I thought was a relatively simply operation, but hey, what did I expect asking a bunch of geeks? 🙂

I’ve settled on a program called Bulk Rename Utility, mostly because when I looked at the screenshot, I could plainly see how to do exactly what I was trying to do, add a prefix to all the pictures on one SD card, probably something date or location specific, thereby giving the files from that card, a different name from files from another card. This way I don’t have to rename pictures if I’m using pics of off two SD cards in one gallery. I can rename them to begin with!

Now on to my next project. 🙂
