Changing plans..

The events of last night and today led to quite the day today. Dylan was delivered to our house yesterday evening in preperation for the fireworks last night. Angela was called off to Huntington to be with her father and Dylan and I were left to our own devices for the night, and into this afternoon. Between being worried about Angela and her dad, and trying to entertain and take care of a 4 year old on my own, I’m tired. I’m glad her dad is going to be OK, that was enough of a relieve that I actually got to enjoy my birthday some, and spend some time with the rest of my family today, but I missed her and wish we could have both been in the same place. On the other hand, knowing her dad’s going to be alright and that, in turn, Angela is going to be alright is the best birthday gift I could have hoped for. We’ll be sure to celebrate with a leftover piece of birthday cake when you get home Sunday sweetheart…
