Database tweaks
I just finished up some tweaks to our main database and I’m happy with myself. There’s something about making DB tweaks that just makes me happy. I think it’s sort of like solving a puzzle. Someone comes to you with information they want to start tracking, you ask them what type of information and what they plan to do with it, then you set out to configure something within the existing database that will let them do exactly that, easily. When it works out, and you get to design a little tweak that makes searching the info insanely easy, you’ve got to feel good. 🙂
