I have only used Thunderbird for about two days when I noticed that version 0.4 was available over the weekend. I don’t know whether it’s better, I was still figuring out what was in 0.3 so I don’t really know what’s new, but I downloaded it and replaced the 0.3. Consider this your head’s up…

Maybe this will get those people who insist on keeping every email they’ve ever gotten to finally stop that practice. The technical explanations about disk space and email processing speed haven’t gotten them to, so let’s take the argument to their own territory. 🙂 The e-mail you save can be held against you.

Since the Office beta expired I took advantage of the fact that I needed to uninstall all of it to switch my email client over to Thunderbird. It’s always interesting to try new stuff. I can tell you one thing I don’t like already. It creates a new set of folders for each account instead…
