Back to work

Not only is it the end of the 4 day weekend, it’s also the first of the month. That leaves me with a ton of things to get caught up at work, all while trying to get back in the swing of things. I was most definitely not in the swing of things this morning. Since Angela’s car needed to go to the shop she drove it over and dropped it off this morning. I picked her up from there and drove to my workplace, where she then left to go to her work after letting me out. Unfortunately, she was long down the road by the time I came into the building, put a pot of coffee on, walked around to my office and realized that she had left with my keys to the car, which means she also had the key to my office!

After about a 10 minute wait, my boss made it in to work and I was able to use her spare set to let myself in, but it was not exactly the way I pictured getting going today.
