Add-ons

Looks like Microsoft has some interesting things in the plans as far as add-on’s for Windows Server 2003. The most interesting thing I saw was the Virtual Server that would let businesses migrate to 2003 but still have a place to run legacy applications that aren’t compatible with 2003. That one, I think, will be a very important piece of the puzzle, especially for smaller businesses that can’t afford to replace some of their legacy apps. If they can get that right, they eliminate quite a few of the reasons not to upgrade to 2003. (Not all, but some..)
